Which Cab?

Hi everybody,

I have been checking this forum out for a while, but this is my first post. I started playing bass in Febuary of this year, and I love it.

Three months ago I decided to upgrade my gear, starting with a WT550. It is the perfect amp, it totally nailed the sound in my head.

Thanks to the favorable comments I have read on this forum for G&L basses, I went and checked them out. I was dead set set on a Fender Jazz, but I figured, why not? Everything was true about the G&L, they are awesome, so now I have a JB-2 fretless on order.

So, that leaves me with the cabinet. I currently have a 2x10, but I want something bigger. I want either a 4x10, or 2x12. My problem is I only have one car, and very limited space for the cab in my hatchback (26x27x17.5 deep). I checked out every cabinet from every brand I can think of and narrowed it down to two:

Aguilar GS 212

or,

Sadowsky SA410

I have to mail order either one I go with, there aren't any local dealers so I can't try them first. I wish I lived near one of the bass only stores. Guitar Center has the most stock in bass gear in my area so... that should tell you everything.

I play Jazz and Punk music if that helps.

Which one would you buy?

I don't know ,I hear they're both GOOD,but did you think a two d112xlts,(just a thought) they sound good too

From your choices I like the Aguilar GS212, this is the cab that got me interested in 12" drivers. My friend uses one and has been very pleased with it, if it fits in your space you have too move it around go for it.
The G&L basses truly have a sound of there own, and the JB-2 is on my list of basses I need to get.
